Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, children of all ages, welcome to Albina Restaurant Crosby…
Allow us to guide you through a history of British food in a fashion that will aim to endorse good old fashioned eccentricity whilst being simultaneously anchored by a stiff upper lip. We’re passionate (isn’t everyone these days?) about good honest food and the food that helped to shape our nation. The food that fueled the Royal courts and industrial backstreets, the food that allows a beard to flourish and a lady to lunch.
We have a simple philosophy, to cook British food with the best ingredients we can find. To take historical influences and recipes and reinvent them for the modern palette.
Our kitchen in Crosby, Liverpool is lead by Alex who is ably supported by a motley crew of Chefs and the true stars of the kitchen, our strapping kitchen porters. Front of house is ran by our very own selfie queen Miss Beth Deary and her team of servers whilst the new bar is manned by the ever jovial Mr Wain. That’s right, new bar! You can now come and enjoy the delightful lubrication of intoxicating liquors on the comfort of our battered old leather chesterfield or on a stool talking your troubles away.
Albina should be a place to relax with family, friends or loved ones. An unpretentious bar & restaurant where one can kick off their shoes or come dressed to the nines. Where children and even grandparents are welcome.
Make of Albina what you will, but at the least. . . . eat, drink and be merry.
